PREMOD panels are low-voltage switchgear systems designed in accordance with IEC 61439-2. Featuring specially designed corner elements, Premod enclosures offer customers numerous advantages regarding quality and ease of assembly.
Thanks to their modular design, they are compatible with switchgear components from industry-leading brands—such as ABB, Legrand, Eaton, Schneider, and Siemens—using appropriate mounting methods. These panels provide durable, customizable solutions suitable for a wide range of applications across various sectors.
Despite their modular construction, they offer an ingress protection rating of up to IP55, thanks to gasket channels integrated into the top, bottom, and side panels. Their modular nature also allows Premod enclosures to be supplied in flat-pack form for shipping. In addition to these features, they offer an aesthetic appearance.
The quality and assurance associated with GVD are inherent in every component of Premod wall-mounted empty enclosures. Manufactured to high standards, these products are designed to enhance energy efficiency while ensuring full compliance with IEC and international standards.
Offers various height options: 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1200 mm for wall-mounted types; 1400, 1600, 1800, and 2000 mm for floor-standing types.
PREMOD is a suitable choice if a modular enclosure that is suitable for flat-pack shipping and on-site assembly is required. PRESTAB, on the other hand, may be more appropriate for applications requiring a monoblock welded body and protection ratings up to IP66. The final selection should be based on the installation site, operating environment, enclosure dimensions, and protection class.
Wall-mounted panels are suitable for compact, wall-mountable applications with limited equipment requirements. Floor-standing panels are preferred for projects requiring more switchgear, extensive mounting space, or high cabinet capacity. PREMOD offers size options for both wall-mounted and floor-standing types.
IP31 protects the panel against solid objects of a certain size and vertical water droplets. IP43 provides higher protection against foreign objects and water sprays at an angle. IP55 offers even stronger protection against dust ingress and water jets from various directions. The appropriate rating should be selected based on the environmental conditions where the panel will be used.

Dismantled panels offer advantages for projects where transport and storage space is limited, units must be moved through narrow passageways, or on-site assembly is required. PREMOD cabinets, which can be shipped flat-packed, provide logistical convenience—particularly for exports and projects involving the transport of large numbers of panels.
Yes. The dimensions, mounting methods, connection points, and accessories of switchgear devices may vary by brand. PREMOD can be adapted to diverse project requirements through mounting options compatible with products from ABB, Legrand, Eaton, Schneider Electric, and Siemens.
Form 2b is preferred in applications where busbars must be separated from functional units, and external conductor connections must also be separated from the busbars. This compartmentalization helps enhance operational safety and limit the impact of a potential fault on other sections within the panel.
For a technical proposal, the single-line diagram, operating voltage, rated current, short-circuit withstand rating, panel dimensions, IP protection class, switchgear brand, and equipment list must be provided. A PREMOD solution tailored to the project can be prepared by also specifying the operating environment, cable entry direction, and the preference for wall-mounted or floor-standing types.
